Today the coconut milk and honey group (minus syd who will be gone for the week) went to the... AMERICAN ORCHID SOCIETY!!! It was super fun. We were actually planning to go to Morikami but since it is closed on Mondays ( only Mondays) we went to see, draw, and photograph all the pretty orchids. Even though i was bummed Morikami was closed The American Orchid Society was super fun!!!
Now check out these fabulous pics!!
Vicky and me start the day with yoga. Even though it hurts
I like feeling the relief when you get out of the pose.
A beautiful (mini) waterfall. I love how it flows over
natural algae covered rocks through amazing greenery.
Is it just me or does this gigantic tree look like a swamp monster
coming out to enjoy the humid day with rain clouds in the air?
The one thing you'll always find in an Orchid garden a
simple but beautiful work of nature, an orchid.
I almost didn't notice this group of orchids because they were high
by the ceiling. But as soon as I caught a glimpse of them i knew it was the perfect photo op.
I hold up the picture I drew then shaded. The picture is called A Color
out of Place because every part of it is orange except from the
Aqua Green petal that you would expect to be orange.
